The identity of a man killed in a fiery crash on Route 17 has been released. The crash happened on Friday, June 19 at about 12:30 p.m. in the town of Wallkill. Troopers responded to Route 17 for a single-vehicle crash. A woman had to be extricated after a serious crash involving an SUV and fire department vehicle resulted in the death of a dog. It happened in Orange County on Wednesday, May 27 at 4:30 p.m. in Greenville. A state police investigation revealed that a Town of Greenville fire police truck, a Ford F550, was parked in the passing lane of I-84 eastbound with emergency lighting activated. Bus Driver Dies After Crash With 22 Students Aboard On I-84
The driver of a school bus died after crashing into a tree off I-84, New York State Police said. Troopers responded near exit 28 off I-84 in Orange County at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, when a school bus owned by the Warwick Central School District crashed. The man and woman killed in a late-night head-on crash in the area have been identified. The crash occurred at around 11 p.m. Friday, May 3 in Orange County on Route 6 in the town of Woodbury between the 293 split and Long Mountain Parkway. An investigation revealed that a 2007 Dodge Caliber traveling west on Route 6 crossed over into the Eastbound lane, state police said. ID Released For 23-Year-Old Killed In Area Crash
A 23-year-old man who was killed during a crash in the Hudson Valley that also injured four other people has been identified. The crash took place around 11:40 p.m. Saturday on on Route 17 east of exit 112 in the Mamakating, said the New York State Police. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2008 Honda Civic, operated by Sayra Lemus, 22, of Fallsburg was traveling east on Route 17. Witnesses said that an unidentified vehicle entered into the lane of travel of the Honda Civic.
