Woman Who Drove Towards Cops Flees Before Getting Caught After Route 9W Crash, Police Said A woman who allegedly drove towards police officers and fled before crashing following a domestic dispute was arrested in Newburgh. The incident took place around 5:23 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, after City of Newburgh officers responded to an address on Benkard Avenue for a domestic dispute, said City of New Police Det. Lt. Joseph Burns.
