Westchester Marketing Professional, Mom Of Two Teens Dies At 49
A Westchester County woman known as a successful marketing professional and devoted mother of two has died at the age of 49.
Heather Paltz Ughetta, of Larchmont, died on Thursday, Dec. 16, according to her obituary.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Ted Ughetta, and her children, 17-year-old Teddy and 14-year-old Caroline.
She is also survived by her mother, Carole Paltz, and two siblings.
Paltz Ughetta was raised in Manlius and worked in marketing and communications at IBM and Accenture, her obituary said.

Medical Worker In Westchester Dies At Age 33
A Westchester County medical worker has died at the age of 33.
Bryan DuBois, of New Rochelle, died on Wednesday, Dec. 22, according to his obituary.
DuBois was a registered psychiatric nurse at Westchester Medical Center and a graduate of Cochran School of Nursing.
"Bryan was known for his infectious laugh, great sense of humor, and a big heart filled with generosity," his obituary reads. "He will be missed by all who knew him. Bryan lived life to the fullest enjoying bodybuilding, drawing, music, and enjoying the beach with friends."

A lifelong Hudson Valley resident who was a beloved high school coach, and teacher, as well as the chief of a local fire department, and a standout college athlete in Connecticut, has died.
Northern Westchester resident Michael Repp, of Somers and formerly of Katonah, died on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at age 82 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco.

Former Mayor In Westchester Dies At Age 60
Dennis Pilla, who served four terms as a mayor in Westchester, has died at the age of 60.
Pilla died peacefully on Thursday, July 8, according to his obituary. He was the Port Chester mayor from 2007 to 2013 and from 2015 to 2017.
Pilla was also formerly president of the Westchester Municipal Officials Association from 2012 to 2013, and a member of its executive committee from 2017 to 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Margoth Pilla, and his son, David. He is also survived by David's wife, Kristy, and their children, Danny and Lily.

Former Dutchess County Supreme Court Justice, lawyer and pastor Ralph Beisner died at 78 on Monday, Dec. 14.

Dr. John Alexander, Chiropractor In Area, Dies Suddenly At 58
Dr. John A. Alexander, a chiropractor in the Hudson Valley, died suddenly on Sunday, Oct. 25 at the age of 58.
Alexander, a resident of Mahopac, was born on Feb. 6, 1962, in New York City, the son of John and Braulia (Alvino) Alexander.
John attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia where earned his doctorate in chiropractic medicine.
On April 4, 1992, he married Phyllis Spaccarelli at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac.

Hope W. Levene, a longtime Bedford resident, died on March 17 at the age of 98.
