Police in Northern Westchester investigated a suspicious incident in which a woman reported a red Range Rover had been stolen from an Armonk driveway. Members of the North Castle Police Department received the call from a Florida area code shortly before 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8. The caller, who identified herself as “Dr. Christine Hall,” said that her car had been stolen from a Day Road residence in the past two days. Suspicious Man Questions Girl Home Alone In Northern Westchester, Police Say
A suspicious man approached a girl in Northern Westchester while her parents weren’t home, asking if she “needed her lawn debugged,” police said. The North Castle Police Department received a report shortly after 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10 of the solicitor, who asked the girl if anyone was home. The girl said that there wasn’t, “but her parents would be back soon.” The man said he could wait for them to come back, or return in the morning, prompting the girl to ask him to leave repeatedly. Children Get Locked In Car At North Castle Pool
A local father received a scare after his kids accidentally got locked in the car when they were trying to beat the recent heat at the North Castle Town Pool. The North Castle Police Department received a report shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, where a man reported that his children had found themselves locked inside a black Ford Escape in the parking lot of the pool. Officers notified the Armonk Garage, which sent a mechanic to assist with the rescue. Police said that they were able to get inside the vehicle without any further incident and the children were “in good order.”

16-Year-Old Girl Struck By Vehicle In Northern Westchester
A 16-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after she was struck by a vehicle at a busy intersection in Northern Westchester on Sunday. Just before 4:30 p.m., the North Castle Police Department responded to 375 Main St. in Armonk on E-911 calls reporting a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. A North White Plains family got a scare when they woke up to find a man sleeping in their yard under a picnic table. Officers from the North Castle Police Department received a report from a Custis Avenue resident shortly before 5:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, stating that a potentially homeless man was sleeping under a picnic table in the yard. Police are investigating an alleged larceny of a CVS that reportedly occurred in Armonk. Investigators from the North Castle Police Department received a report shortly after 6:50 p.m. on Good Friday from an employee at CVS on Main Street in Armonk of a larceny that had just taken place in the store, according to police. Police are investigating a crash in which a truck driver who struck a utility pole in a busy Westchester business park lot, causing thousands of dollars in damage, before driving off. Investigators at the North Castle Police Department received a report on Tuesday, Jan. 27 from an employee of a Business Park Drive company that on Jan. 5, a tractor-trailer with “Strauss Paper Company” lettering on the side struck a pole in the parking lot.
