Orange County resident Sue Giza, age 52, of Middletown, a 10th-grade math teacher Monroe-Woodbury High School in Central Valley, died on Monday, May 24. Worker Killed After Trench Collapses Near High School In Hudson Valley A worker was killed after a trench collapsed on him while working at a construction site in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Orange County on Monday, March 22 just before noontime at the Woodbury Villas, a development located at 155 Dunderberg Road in Central Valley, near Monroe-Woodbury High School. The Monroe-Woodbury School District said that a Monroe-Woodbury High School student tested positive.  As a result, the high school has switched to remote learning from Wednesday, Oct. 14 through Friday, Oct. 16.
