The collision occurred in Orange County around 8:20 p.m., Sunday, March 24, on Shoddy Hollow Road in the town of Mount Hope. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 4:20 p.m., Friday, Aug. 18 in the town of Poughkeepsie. According to Arlington Fire Chief William Steenbergh, the fire department responded to a report of an injured man who had rolled his lawn mower down a steep embankment on Cardinal Road. The crash took place in Orange County in the town of Montgomery on Route 211 near Canning Road. When police arrived on the scene they found Dutchess County resident Frank Richards, of Wappingers Falls, outside of the car, after being ejected as the vehicle rolled during the crash, said Montgomery Chief of Police John Hank. Bicyclist Killed In Crash Near Food Mart In Area, Police Say A Town of Poughkeepsie bicyclist died after being hit by a vehicle on Vassar Road. The crash took place around 6:35 p.m., Monday, Aug. 12, on Vassar Road, near the Dimpy's Food Mart at 401 Vassar Road, said the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Lt. Michael O’Dowd. During the crash, a 2010 Honda, operated by a 63-year-old Poughkeepsie resident, struck a 41-year-old bicyclist, also of Poughkeepsie, O'Dowd said. 25-Year-Old Dies After Fall From Bucket Truck In Hudson Valley A 25-year-old man who fell from a bucket truck while working on Monday has died, police announced on Thursday. Middletown Police Lt. Jeffry Thoelen said he was notified late Wednesday by the Orange County Medica Examiner's Office of the death. The man worked for JMH Tree Service, which lists a Middletown address.  Fire officials said the man fell 30 to 40 feet near 15 Highland Ave. around 12:48 p.m. Monday. The man was taken to Orange Regional Medical Center by Mobile Life Supports ambulance.  Thoelen said they could not release the man's identity pending notification of his family.

Two-Alarm Rhinebeck Home Fire Displaces One A two-alarm mobile home fire in Rhinebeck left one person displaced, according to the Rhinebeck Fire Department.  The fire started around 3:46 p.m. Wednesday at 20 Hidden Valley Road, with Rhinebeck fire crews responding within four minutes, the department reported. Once on scene, firefighters found a large fire and transmitted a second alarm and requested assistance at the scene.
