Putnam Now Has 427 Covid-19 Cases: Latest Rundown By Town, Breakdown By Sex, Age Groups
There are now 427 positive cases of the novel coronavirus in Putnam County.
Twenty-two of those are hospitalized.
Two COVID-19 deaths of county residents since Tuesday, April 7 have brought the total number of fatalities to 16.
Here is a breakdown of cases by town:

Southeast, 85
Kent, 66
Putnam Valley, 44
Patterson, 40
Philipstown, 35
Total: 427
Men: 244, Women: 183
In the first image above, Carmel (in light blue) has the highest percentage at 37 percent, followed by Southeast (20 percent).

Thousands of Westchester and Putnam residents lost power after storms brought heavy rain and strong wind to the region overnight.
As of 9:45 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, Con Edison is responding to 161 reported outages, which were impacting 3,199 of its 348,198 customers in Westchester. NYSEG is dealing with 2,271 of its 32,806 customers who were without power.
In Putnam County, 2,709 of NYSEG’s 38,310 customers were still left in the dark, while Central Hudson was responding to outages impacting 266 of their 5,153 customers in the county.
