Man Indicted For Murder Of Man During Robbery In Area A man who is already serving a 14-year prison sentence for a carjacking in which he dragged the victim through a parking lot has been charged with the murder of a 68-year-old City of Poughkeepsie man in 2017. Anthony Abbott, 36, of Wappingers Falls, was arraigned on Monday, July 8,  on two counts of first-degree murder, second-degree, murder, robbery, and burglary, said Dutchess County District Attorney William Grady.
