K-9 Unit Tracks Down Man Caught Fleeing Lexus Crash On Taconic Parkway A Dutchess County man took a police K-9 Unit on a wild foot chase through the woods after being involved in a crash that landed his Lexus in a ditch off the Taconic State Parkway. A Putnam County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit was dispatched to a stretch of the parkway in East Fishkill shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, following reports of a single-vehicle accident, where the driver fled his 2002 Lexus in a ditch in the northbound lane.
