Carmel Man Stole Lawn Mower, Air Conditioner From Home Depot, Sheriff Says A 70-year-old man was caught red-handed attempting to steal a lawnmower and air-conditioning unit from Home Depot in Southeast, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department. A Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to Home Depot on Independence Way at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Monday, July 8, where there was a report of an attempted larceny. Upon arrival, the deputy found the suspect, Carmel resident Mark Vujevic, in the loss prevention office at the store.
