A 51-year-old bicyclist is in critical condition after being struck by a Dodge Ram pickup truck near an intersection in a hit-and-run. A 20-year-old man who allegedly hit a man walking along the side of the road and then sped away has been arrested by police in Orange County. The hit-and-run took place around 3:18 a.m. Sunday when two men were walking along the side of Blackhawk Road when a 19-year-old man was struck by a dark-colored sedan, said Town of Crawford Police Chief Dominick Blasko. Police are searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that left a bicyclist seriously injured on Route 9W. The incident occurred just before 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Piermont when a bicyclist was struck by a large white box truck.
