Hudson Valley Man Nabbed With 2 Guns After Chase, Police Say A 39-year-old Hudson Valley man was nabbed with two guns after police received a 911 call reporting a man with a gun. The incident took place in Dutchess County in the city of Poughkeepsie around 2 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 5 on Main Street. According to the city of Poughkeepsie Police, officers responded to the area of 299 Main St., after receiving the call and spotted a man matching the description provided and attempted to stop him. In Dutchess County, police in the Town of Poughkeepsie were called to the Manchester Gardens Apartments on Rhobella Drive at around 7 p.m. Friday, July 15, with reports of an armed robbery. The victim told police a man had brandished a handgun and demanded property. The Westchester County Real Time Crime Center broadcast an alert at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, where there was a report that a car had been stolen and entered Glen Island Park in New Rochelle. Two Arrested, Handgun Recovered After Vehicle Stop, Foot Pursuit On Hutchinson River Parkway Westchester County Police, assisted by Pelham Manor Police, arrested two men Tuesday who fled from a traffic stop on the Hutchinson River Parkway and attempted to elude officers in their car and then on foot. The two men were captured by county and village officers following a foot pursuit through streets and backyards in Pelham Manor.
