The incident occurred in Rockland County around 3:20 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18, on Sunny Ridge Road in New Hempstead. According to Ramapo Police Lt. Teen Arrested After Riding Dirt Bike, Taking Police On Chase In Area A Rockland County teenager was arrested after taking officers on a short chase when he was busted for driving a dirt bike without a helmet on. Officers from the Ramapo Police Department on patrol on Route 202 on Wednesday, Dec. 16 spotted an unregistered dirt bike being driven by a minor who was not wearing a helmet.
