18 Arrested After Investigation Into Drug Trafficking In Hudson Valley Eighteen suspects are facing charges in the Hudson Valley following a long-term investigation into drug smuggling and sales in Orange County, authorities announced. Area Man Admits To Possessing Fentanyl A Hudson Valley man has pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a controlled substance in connection with fentanyl which was recovered during a search of his apartment. Dashell Powlus, age 24, of Port Jervis, on Thursday, Jan. 13, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. 22-Year-Old Charged With Trafficking Heroin In Area A months-long investigation into the illicit sales of heroin led to the arrest of a 22-year-old Orange County man. Dashell Powlus, of Elizabeth Street in Port Jervis was busted with 130 individual bags of heroin and 145 grams of marijuana, packing materials, and a digital scale during his arrest on Tuesday, March 12, said Port Jervis Police Chief William J.
