Man Takes State Police On High-Speed I-84 Chase With Flat Tire A man wanted for a domestic violence assault and shooting took Connecticut State Police on a high-speed chase on I-84 at speeds reaching 95 mph with a flat tire for part of the chase. Daniel Ballard, 36, of Coventry, was arrested on numerous charges including reckless driving, reckless endangerment, and engaging police in pursuit, among others following an attack on a woman and her children, according to Coventry Police.
