An eagle-eyed police officer in Westchester busted a pair who have been connected to a series of alleged vehicle break-ins over several months, police said.
Albuquerque residents Rachel Kennedy, 38, and Mondreon Haywood, 28, were busted last week when a patrol officer driving through the parking lot at Lifetime Fitness in Harrison spotted a maroon Chevrolet Impala that was wanted in connection to multiple break-ins in the past two months.

Man In Disabled Vehicle On I-84 Caught With Stolen, Loaded Gun, Police Say
A 61-year-old man was sent to jail after state police, who came to the aid of his disabled vehicle, say they discovered he had a stolen, loaded pistol as well as marijuana and charged him with three felonies.
Troopers observed the vehicle on I-84 in the Town of Southeast on Saturday, May 26 at approximately 11:30 p.m.
While interviewing the operator, Richard P. Kaley of Nashua, New Hampshire, an odor of marijuana was detected, police said. Further investigation discovered approximately eight grams of marijuana, and a loaded pistol that had been reported stolen in Ohio.

Traffic Stop Nabs Man, Woman Driving Stolen Vehicle In Northern Westchester
A 20-something man and woman are both behind bars after they were caught driving a stolen vehicle in Northern Westchester, state police said.
Troopers pulled over a 2007 Volkswagen on Main Street in Cortlandt on Monday, May 21 due to a notification that the vehicle was stolen. Patrick S. McCullough, 25, and Diana R. Lake, 21, of Winfield, Kansas, were interviewed, and the subsequent investigation found the vehicle was stolen. Lake was also found to be in possession of a gravity knife, according to police.
