Duo Nabbed For Series Of Burglaries In Hudson Valley, Police Say
Two men from the area have been nabbed for allegedly committing a series of burglaries.
The men were arrested in Ulster County on Friday, Dec. 2 in the town of Saugerties.
Following an investigation into several burglaries that occurred throughout the town of Saugerties, Saugerties Police detectives have arrested Kirk Shultis Jr., age 33, and Matthew Doyle, age 40, both of Saugerties, for felony burglary, said Chief Joseph Sinagra, of the Saugerties Police.
Both men were remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $59,000 cash bail.

Man Issued 26 Traffic Tickets, Including DWI, After Hit-Run Crash In Area
A man from the area was issued 26 traffic tickets and charged with DWI after he allegedly left the scene of a crash.
A Greene County resident Szitter Zoltan, age 30, of Catskill, was arrested in Ulster County in Saugerties on Saturday, April 23.

Bicyclist Injured After Hitting Pedestrian In Hudson Valley, Police Say
A bicyclist was injured after hitting a pedestrian who was walking on the wrong side of a roadway in the dark in the Hudson Valley.
The incident took place around 9:15 p.m., Saturday, April 17 in Ulster County, on the Washington Avenue Extension in Saugerties.
Star Berzal, age 62, was riding her bike when she struck Caleb Warwick, age 36, also of Saugerties, from behind as he walked down the roadway, said Chief of the Saugerties Police Joseph Sinagra.

Weaving Driver Nabbed For DWI, Has License Revoked, Police Say
A 37-year-old man was arrested for alleged DWI after numerous 911 callers reported a car weaving into oncoming traffic in Ulster County.
Greene County resident James S. Hartley Jr., of the Town of Ashland, was arrested around 10:24 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 25, in Saugerties, after police responded to the area of Kings High Way for a civilian complaint, said Chief Joseph Sinagra.
According to Sinagra, Hartley was reportedly unable to maintain lanes and was weaving in and out of the oncoming traffic lane.

Duo Charged With Wiping Dog Feces On Neighbor's Door, Police Say
Two area residents who allegedly wiped dog feces on the back door of a neighbor was arrested for harassment.
Ulster County residents Travis J. Cuvelier, 23, and Ashley E. Miller. 23, both of Saugerties, were arrested on Sunday, Nov. 8, after police responded to Market Street for a report of a neighbor dispute, involving a neighbor wiping dog feces on the back door of the complainant’s residence, said Chief Joseph Sinagra.
Cuvelier and Miller were taken into custody, processed, and released on appearance tickets.
