Putnam Gets Alzheimer's Foundation Grant A $5,000 grant from the Alzheimer's Foundation of America will allow the Putnam County Sheriff's Office to expand its Project Lifesaver program aimed at finding lost adults. The Project Lifesaver program uses technology and training to help combat wandering, a common and dangerous behavior among individuals with Alzheimer’s disease.
