Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace celebrated the grand opening of its bigger location at the Yorktown Green Shopping Center on Friday, Aug. 26, Yorktown officials announced. An iconic pizzeria chain with a location in Westchester County is reportedly going to expand far beyond in roots in the region and open a new location in Florida, according to Naples Florida Weekly. Discount Supermarket Chain To Open New Location In Hudson Valley
A popular discount supermarket chain is coming to the Hudson Valley. The new market, Lidl (pronounced Lee-dull), which could open by the end of the year in Rockland County has received Planning Board approval from Orangetown to build in the Tappan Plaza, said Orangetown Supervisor Teresas Kenny. The German-owned company has also been issued a demolition permit to remove the portion of the building where the former Bon FahyrBuffet/Duke Ocean Grill had been located, Kenny said. Duluth Trading Co. To Open First Connecticut Location In Danbury
Duluth Trading Co. retail store is opening its first location in Connecticut, and it will be located in Fairfield County. The store, at 3 Sugar Hollow Road in the Whole Foods Shopping Plaza in Danbury, will be the company’s first in Connecticut and its 53rd location nationwide. The store will open Thursday, May 23. There will be a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. May 23 and lumberjack shows at 10:30 a.m. and noon.
