Man Attempted To Lure Young Women Into His Car In Westchester, Police Say
A suspect is at large after attempting to lure high school girls into his car in Westchester, police said. In Ardsley, police issued an alert to the community advising that an unknown man made multiple attempts at luring high school-aged females to his car while asking for directions. The incidents happened at approximately 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, according to Ardsley PD investigators. Police Rescue Woman After Car Crashes Into Lake In Westchester
A woman was rescued by a police officer who jumped into frigid waters after her vehicle drove into a Westchester lake. The incident began around 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 14, when Westchester County Police received a 911 call reporting a vehicle had driven into Woodlands Lake at V.E. Macy Park in Irvington, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for Westchester County. According to O'Leary, Sgt. Serious Crash Causes Route 9A Closure During Evening Commute
This story has been updated. A serious motor vehicle crash caused the closure of a busy stretch of Route 9A in Ardsley in both directions during the evening commute. The crash took place around 4:07 p.m., Friday, June 7, at Route 9A and Revolutionary Road, , said the Ardsley Police Department. Police worked quickly over the weekend after a swastika was found spray painted on a street sign in Westchester. Officials said the swastika was found over the weekend, and Village of Ardsley Police worked quickly to have the sign taken down and launched an investigation into who spray painted the swastika.
