New Rice Video Prompts Memory Of Punch Ex-Section 1 Star Threw In HS

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- The video released Monday of former New Rochelle High School and Section 1 star Ray Rice punching his then-fiancee, now wife Janay Palmer in February, led to his release by the NFL's Baltimore Ravens.

It all sparked a memory of a punch Rice threw during a high school basketball game back in 2003. That incident was recounted by Daily Voice managing editor Joe Lombardi during an appearance on FiOS 1 Lower Hudson Valley News on Monday night with anchor Mike Gilliam.
