MTA Board Adds Garrison Resident As Putnam Representative

GARRISON, N.Y. -- Neal Zuckerman of Garrison has been tapped to represent Putnam County on the board of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority by Putnam County Executive MaryEllen Odell, according to The Examiner.

Neal Zuckerman will represent Putnam County on the MTA board.

Zuckerman has served on the Metro-North Railroad Commuter Council since 2010 in the Putnam County seat as well as serving on the MTA board as the council’s representative since 2014. He works as a partner and managing director of The Boston Consulting Group, specializing in companies transforming their businesses in the digital era, according to The Examiner.

Zuckerman succeeds nine-year veteran of the MTA board Robert Bickford of Cold Spring. Zuckerman lives in Garrison with his wife and two children, according to The Examiner.
