Woman Charged In Series Of Garrison Golf Club Larcenies

PHILIPSTOWN, N.Y. – Meghan Gilbert, 21, of Buchanan, was charged with grand larceny following a recent investigation into ongoing larcenies at the Garrison Golf Club on Route 9 in Philipstown, officials said.

According to the article, Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith, an investigation revealed that Gilbert had been stealing cash from the register over the course of a three-week period totaling $1,150 while employed in the Pro Shop.

She was released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance. If found guilty of a felony charge she could face up to four years in a New York State Correctional Facility and a fine.
