Woman Behind Bars After I-84 Southeast Stop Results In Drug Charges

A 34-year-old woman stopped for moving out of her lane unsafely on I-84 in Southeast on Friday is now behind bars, facing multiple drugs charges, according to New York State Police.

Troopers, who stopped Jennifer K. Satallante of Brookfield, Conn., say they detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. They then discovered she had about 3.95 grams of marijuana and paper tabs of LSD.

Satallante was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (a Class C felony) and unlawful possession of marijuana, a Violation.

She was arraigned in the Town of Southeast Justice Court and remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. She is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Southeast Court on Oct. 12.
