Three Charged In Route 22 DWI Checkpoint

PATTERSON, N.Y. -- Two Patterson residents and one White Plains woman were charged with varying counts during a DWI enforcement detail on Route 22 in Dutchess County on Friday, Sept 19, officials said. 

State Police charged two Patterson women with DWI and a White Plains woman with possession of marijuana on Sept. 19.

Rose M. Scheer, 58, and Barbara A. Murphy, 57, both of Patterson, were charged with driving while intoxicated. Scheer provided a breathalyzer sample that yielded a blood alcohol content of .12 percent. Murphy refused a breathalyzer test, police said. 

White Plains resident Katherine E. Rhodes, 25, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, police said. 

All three were processed and are scheduled to appear in Town of Pawling Court and a later date, police said.
