New Warning On Thefts From Vehicles Issued In Carmel

The Carmel Police Department is cautioning homeowners to be on alert following reports of multiple thefts from cars.

The department issued an alert over the weekend after receiving multiple reports of people stealing property from unlocked vehicles in neighborhoods near Drewville Road.

Police said that they are “urging residents to lock all car doors,” and have requested that any homeowners who may have video surveillance of any suspicious suspects in the area to contact the department by calling (845) 628-1300.
