Man Involved In Putnam Valley Crash Had Revoked License, Sheriff Says

PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. – A Wappingers Falls man involved in auto accident in Putnam Valley Sunday, Aug. 30 had a revoked driver’s license, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.

Keith P. Tomlins, 57, of 16 West St., Wappingers Falls was involved in the automobile accident that occurred at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Bryant Pond Road in Putnam Valley, according to officials.

Tomlins was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, a misdemeanor. He was processed at the Putnam County Correctional Facility and released after posting $250 bail pending a Tuesday, Sept. 29 appearance in the Town of Putnam Valley Justice Court to answer the charge, officials said.

If found guilty of the misdemeanor charge, Tomlins could face up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.
