Man Charged With Stealing Wrenches From Sears Store Display In Yorktown

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police have arrested a 51-year-old Ossining resident for allegedly stealing tools from a local store.

Police responded to a shoplifting complaint from Sears at 600 Lee Blvd. on Wednesday at approximately 5:15 p.m., police report.

After an investigation, Allen P. Moscone Jr., stole three Craftsman wrenches valued at $110.97 from a store display, according to officials.

Moscone was charged with petty larceny, a class A misdemeanor, police report.

The defendant was processed at Yorktown Police Headquarters and released on $500 cash bail, officials report.

He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, April 12, according to police.
