Man Caught With Stolen Xanax In Putnam Hospital Center Parking Lot

A Carmel man was arrested for possessing stolen Xanax after police responded to a call on Saturday, Aug. 19, of a suspicious person at Putnam Hospital.

Daniel Schreiber, 24, was charged after responding officers located him sitting in his vehicle in the hospital parking lot and found three stolen bottles of Xanax in his car, said Carmel Police Chief Mike Cazzari.

Schreiber was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of stolen property.

He was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
