Man Arraigned In LaGrange Court On Fifth DWI Charge

LAGRANGE, N.Y. -- A 45-year-old man was arraigned in LaGrange Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail after being arrest and charged with a fifth DWI offense, state police said.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Brian J. Pine of Beekman was operating on Noxon Road for failing to maintain its lane of travel on Wednesday.  While conducting an interview of Pine, they detected clues that indicated he was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

A criminal history revealed that Pine had two previous DWI related convictions, both from 2008.  This arrest makes a total of five DWI related charges for Pine since 1998.

Pine, who was charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class D felony, was arraigned before the Town of LaGrange Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. He is due to return to Court on June 23.
