Mahopac Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- Zachary Zappala, 26, of Mahopac, died after his motorcycle collided with a car on Baldwin Place Road, according to a report in lohud.com.

According to lohud.com, the 2007 Mahopac High School graduate's Yamaha motorcycle crashed head-on with a BMW on Saturday and died the following morning at Westchester Medical Center, lohud reported.

A funeral was held Thursday morning at St. John the Evangelist Church. Police said the driver of the BMW declined medical attention and has not been charged, according to lohud.com.
