Fire crews from the Mahopac Falls Fire Department received reports of smoke billowing from a house on Secor Road. Emergency teams converged on the scene and found heavy smoke upon entering the home, but little fire was found.
The property owners were on the scene to stay close to their dogs. EMTs kept an eye on the owners as the fire crews worked to stabilize the property. Fire Police closed one lane of Secor Road to give fire trucks access.
Drivers are requested to slow down in this area while emergency crew vehicles are in the roadway. Police and fire investigations are still ongoing.
