Four Women Charged With Attempting To Bring Contraband Into Prison

FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Four women were arrested for attempting to bring contraband into the Fishkill Correctional Facility, according to state Department of Corrections Office officials.

Amanda Ferrer, 21, of Brooklyn, was arrested for second-degree promoting prison contraband, a class A misdemeanor.

Jasmine Gaskin, 20, of Brooklyn, was arrested for second-degree promoting prison contraband, a class A misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. 

Serema Roberts, 32, of Utica, was arrested for second-degree promoting prison contraband, a class A misdemeanor, unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Tasha Torres, 30, of Woodbury,  was arrested for second-degree promoting prison contraband, a class A misdemeanor. 

The four were issued Sept. 2 appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Fishkill Court.
