During the investigation of the domestic incident on Main Street in the town of Pine Plains on Feb. 25, child pornography was discovered, state police said.
Further investigation by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Child Advocacy Center of Dutchess County, and the Dutchess County District Attorney’s office led to the seizure of multiple storage devices containing child pornography.
On Friday, March 1, troopers from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Nicholas J. Terilli of Pine Plains, for use of a child in a sexual performance (a Class C felony), possession of a sexual performance by a child (a Class E felony) and endangering the welfare of a child (a Class A misdemeanor).
Terilli was arraigned before the Town of Milan Court, and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 secure bond.
Terilli is next scheduled to appear before the town of Pine Plains Court on Thursday, March 7.
