Cilmi was born April 1, 1930, to Joseph and Frances (Conti) Cilmi, in Queens. During the Korean Conflict, he served with the United States Army. Before he retired in 1994, he owned and operated Eastern Alarms, in Harrison. He was a member of the ELKS Club.
Cilmi is survived by his children, Arlene Alosco (Tony), Diane Rini (Mike) and Karen Cilmi ( fiancé, Kurt Hoppman); six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Marion.
Calling hours are Saturday, Dec. 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 21 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John’s the Evangelist, 25 East Lake Blvd., Mahopac. Interment to follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery.
