BREWSTER, N.Y. - Paul Mach of Brewster died Tuesday, Oct. 7. He was 88.
Mach was born July 24, 1926, in Hannover, Germany, to May and Julie (Erbe) Mach. He graduated from the New York School of Printing in 1948. After marriage he lived with his family in the Bronx until 2011 when they moved to Brewster. He was an offset printer/pressman for Shown Barley Printing in Manhattan for over 30 years before retiring.
Mach is survived by his wife, Gertrude; children, Paul (Kelly) Mach, Max (Faithlynn) Mach, Julie Mach and Dyana (John) Fricke; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and brother, Max. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Rudolph.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster. A private cremation occurred prior to calling hours.
