PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. - Lora Wagner Saccomanno of Putnam Valley died Oct. 29. She was 74.
Saccomanno was born Nov. 5, 1939, in New York City, to Domenick and Nellie Iasella. She worked at Congregation Sons of Israel in Briarcliff Manor for 34 years.
Saccomanno is survived by her second husband, Richard Saccomanno; children, Barbara Tobin of Enfield, Conn., Fred (Jackie) and Ken (Joanne), both of Putnam Valley and Janice (Anthony) Scafuri of Hopewell Junction; stepchildren, Richie (Mary), Colette, Marie (Danny), Michael (Bonna), Lorraine (Chris), Diane (Frank), and Laura; 23 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mary (John) Scafura of Hicksville and Linda (Michael) Cassar of Flushing; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frederick Wagner.
Calling hours are Sunday, Nov. 2 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Yorktown Funeral Home, 945 East Main St., Shrub Oak. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak with a committal service to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
