CARMEL, N.Y. - Janet L. Herring of Carmel died Oct. 20. She was 84.
Herring was born June 15, 1930, to Samuel Wesley and Dorothy (Beeler) Long. She was a homemaker.
Herring is survived by her husband, Richard; son, Richard (Deborah); and a grandchild. She was predeceased by her son, Peter W. Herring.
A private cremation will be held.
