A native of Brooklyn NY, he and his wife, Katherine lived in Putnam Valley, since the 1980's. In 2004, after Katherine's passing, Lucas moved to Portland, Ore. to spend his later retirement years.
He is survived by his daughter Carol Lucas, of Portland, son William Lucas of Naples, Fla. and two Grandchildren, Cassie Fiacco, of Albany, N.Y, and Dustin Lucas, of Mt. Kisco as well as five Great Grandchildren.
