LAKE CARMEL, N.Y. - Catherine M. Lynch of Lake Carmel died July 2. She was 94.
Lynch was born Nov. 6, 1919, to Joseph and Mary (Curtin) Crowley in New York City. She has lived in the Lake Carmel area since 1986 and before that the Bronx.
Lynch is survived by her children, Irene Loughran, James Lynch and Cathy Clarke; sister, Jean Cotter; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph.
Calling hours are Saturday, July 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 6 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc., 10 Fowler Ave., Carmel, NY 10512. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, July 7 at St. James the Apostle R.C. Church, 14 Gleneida Ave., Carmel, NY 10512 (845)225-3672.
