Drivers should expect the left and center lanes to be closed during the construction that will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., from Exit 9 (I-84) and Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road), said state Department of Transportation officials.
Motorists should anticipate delays.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers, DOT officials said.
Motorists are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
