The vote was at the Town Board's meeting on Thursday and the approval was by four votes to one, according to Stancati, with Councilwoman Lynne Eckardt having been the only one voting against the measure.

The project's applicant, W.B. New York LLC, has proposed building a new parking lot that would contain 350 spaces for vehicles. The site, which is roughly 30 acres, is currently vacant land, the applicant's engineer previously told Daily Voice.

Last month, the Town Board voted to close a public hearing pertaining to the project's special permit.
