The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Tuesday to Westchester County residents regarding the residency of 65-year-old Charles Blades, who has moved from Poughkeepsie to an apartment on main Street in Ossining.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Blades as a Level 2 threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Blades had sexual intercourse with his 13-year-old victim - who was a stranger to him - in February 1998. He was arrested by the Ossining Village Police Department and sentenced to five years probation in August 1999.
