Composed of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashana, and the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur, the High Holy Days represent a time of renewal, reflection and repentance.
Further information and a schedule of services for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, which begins at 8 p.m. Sept. 22 with Kol Nidre, are available here.
The RTPV Sisterhood is also sponsoring a complimentary Breaking of the Fast with a light meal and refreshments at the conclusion of Yom Kippur services.
The Social Action Committee is providing attendees with an opportunity to perform a mitzvah (good deed) through its food drive, which will benefit the Putnam Valley Community Food Pantry.
Tickets are $50 for members and $100 for nonmembers and can be purchased here.
The Reform Temple of Putnam Valley is at 362 Church Road.
