Rainy Workweek Expected In Putnam

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- The workweek looks to be a mostly rainy one in Westchester County, with showers in the forecast for Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers will threaten the area for most of the work week.

Sunny skies will prevail on Monday with high temperatures around 66 degrees.

Clouds will beging to roll into the area on Monday night and into Tuesday with a chance of showers after 8 a.m. High temperatures are expected to be around 70 degrees with a 30 percent chance of rain.

Showers will increase after 9 p.m. with chances of precipitation increasing to 80 percent.

Soggy weather will linger into Wednesday morning before gradually clearing in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 70s with a 30 percent chance of showers in the morning.

Sunny skies will return on Thursday before giving way to clouds and a chance of rain for Friday and Saturday.
