Man Faces Copper Theft Charges In Putnam

PUTNAM COUNTY, N. Y. -- As he awaits sentencing for stealing copper bars from cell tower sites in Putnam County, a Patterson man faces similar charges in other Westchester County towns, according to lohud.com.

Brian Windover, 38, pleaded guilty to August burglary charges of taking the copper from cell tower sites in Patterson and Kent. Later he was arrested and charged by Bedford and state police for cell tower break-ins in Bedford, North Salem, Somers and Lewisboro, lohud.com said.

He's due back in Bedford Town Court on Wednesday to answer the newer burglary and criminal mischief charges. He's due in Putnam County court on Thursday, Dec. 31, for sentencing for the Patterson and Kent break-ins, lohud.com reported.
