I-84 Lane Closes For Roadwork

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Motorists are advised that from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, the right lane of Interstate 84 Eastbound, between Exit 20N (Route 22 Pawling) and the Connecticut border, will be closed for roadwork.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers. Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.

Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
