Fugitive Wanted By Danbury Police Apprehended In New York

DOVER PLAINS, N.Y. – New York State Troopers from the Dover Plains barracks apprehended a Connecticut fugitive Monday who is wanted by Danbury police.

Joseph G. Stanton was stopped for a traffic law violation when New York State Police found out Stanton did not have a valid driver’s license and was wanted by Danbury police in Connecticut.

Stanton was arrested, arraigned and taken to Dutchess County Jail while awaiting extradition to Connecticut.
