Brewster's First Baptist Church Appoints New Pastor

BREWSTER, N.Y. -- First Baptist Church has announced the arrival of its new pastor Travis Mitchell.

Mitchell began pastoral leadership on Monday, Sept. 8.

Mitchell is a leader and teacher who has a deep love of Jesus Christ and believes in doing the work of the Holy Spirit.

His formal education includes a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling from the Denver Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Prior to joining FBC, Mitchell was the senior pastor of Sandy Ridge Community Church in Sandy, Utah.

He is the husband to Amber Joy for 10 years and the father of three children, Roman (age 6), Justice (22 months old) and Courage (10 months old).
