Airport Workers Planning Strike Next Week

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Travelers flying out of JFK or LaGuardia airports may have some headaches next week when more than 1,000 security workers could potentially go on strike, according to Capital New York.

The employees who may hit the picket line, are employed by Aviation Safeguards, a company that is subcontracted by several airlines, including Delta, Capital New York reported. 

Authorities have said it is not yet clear if a strike would cause travel delays, Capital New York said.
